These Last Days is a nontraditional inductive study and an investigation of Biblical prophecy concerning these last days. It is an inductive search for the truth and not a deductive search to verify dogma, doctrine or preconceived notions. It is not based on many erroneous traditions born of deductive thinking.

Prophetic events in this book are offered in several forms. A narrative of the events is presented for those who appreciate learning through story accounts. The narrative presents an overview of these last days in story form. The narratives are followed by Holy Scripture, the foundation for the narratives. Scriptures were taken from the New International version unless otherwise stated. Emphasis has been added for calling attention to a particular verse or verses. For a more detailed study, additional Scripture references are listed for the serious research student. Maps for identification purposes may be found on the website at www.philandpatti.com.

CHAPTER NINETEEN

The 24 Hour Day of the Lord - Armageddon

  1. During the year long Day of the Lord, God will give mankind chance after chance after chance to submit to Him and believe in Jesus. At the opening of the seventh seal there will be ______________ in heaven. (Revelation 8:1)
  2. A short time before the Great Day of the Lord, the closing battle, Jesus will come to Jerusalem and make Himself known as the crucified Christ to the people who are there. Why?



  1. The war of Jesus and His warrior angels against Satan and his forces will come to a close. These armies will remain trapped as they have been forced into a position for the final battle of __________________.
  2. The temple in heaven will be opened and what will be revealed? (Revelation 11:14-19)


  1. What does God pour down on the Antichrist, his troops and all the many nations with him?


  1. What happens to the bodies of the slain?


  1. What happens to those who worship the beast and receive the mark of the beast, the Antichrist and the False Prophet? (Revelation 19:20-21)


  1. What will happen to the demons and evil spirits who have inhabited the armies once the people are dead?


  1. There will be a tremendous earthquake that will shake the earth when the seventh angel pours out his bowl. In the midst of this severe earthquake, the flashes of lightning, rumblings and peals of thunder what incredible promise do we have from God as found in Isaiah 54:10?
